Vibrant Volunteer Coordinator Rosie Leaving On A High

We’re sad to announce our vibrant volunteer coordinator Rosie Vincent will be leaving us for a fantastic new opportunity after a fabulous five months with us and creation of a new vibrant Ability Bow volunteer programme.

Meet Katie: Day In The Life Of Our Fantastic Fitness Instructor

Meet Katie. She's our 26-year-old fabulous fitness instructor, who began her new role this February at our disabiliies and long-term health conditions exercise service. She spoke to us more about why she loves her role!

Q: Where do you live? 

A: Shepherd's Bush, West London.

Q: What's your education/career background? 

A: I have a computing degree but decided to take a personal training course a couple of years after leaving university.

Meet Rosie. She's our vital new volunteer coordinator. Rosie, 23, will be recruiting various volunteers covering roles from admin to event support to join our service. We spoke to her to find out more about her role and what impact it will have for both her and us.

Q: What's your education/career background? You said you're also currently at Roman Road Trust alongside the Ability Bow role? 

A: I graduated from Queen Mary University in 2017 with a BA in Drama.

Catching Up With: Siobhan

Meet Siobhan Lanigan. She's been the chair of our Ability Bow trustees since we started in 2006. 

Her primary focus is now on providing our Ability Bow management with operational and strategic support, including to our dynamic director, Victoria Kent.
