Our Positive Steps programme encourages people with depression, anxiety and other mental health problems to exercise. Evidence has proven that exercise is very beneficial to our mental health. It is believed that exercise releases chemicals in our brain that make us feel good.

InstructABILITY is a funded (free) course run by YMCAfit, in partnership with Aspire. The course is for people who have disabilities to train to become level 2 gym instructors and our gym member Jamie is well on her way to completing her CYQ Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing
