All our equipment is accessible and easy to use.

Gym opening hours:

During the pandemic our Gym opening hours are restricted to Mon, Tues, Wed 10am-2pm (for bookings only*).

Our charity's business hours are weekdays 9.30am-5pm

*We welcome your bookings and due to our COVID-19 safety measures we are unable to let you in the gym without a pre-booked session. Please help to keep everyone as safe as possible by arranging your booking on the telephone or by email and try to avoid turning up without an appointment. Thank you.

Situated on the 3rd floor of St. Paul’s Church, and nicknamed 'The Ark', the gym has the quirky appearance of the bottom of an upturned boat and there are portholes looking out over east London towards The City.

Every item of the gym equipment is fully accessible, and easy to use, whatever your physical ability. Designed in Finland, the HUR resistance equipment is of particular interest, since rather than working on a traditional weight-stack and cable principle, these machines instead use compressed air.

Not only does this make the exercise experience smooth for the user, but the innovative technology is far more effective - whether it be to assist those undergoing a rehabilitation process, or whether to progress the more advanced user.

Even if you've been to a gym before - with or without success - the air resistance equipment will access potential you may not have realised previously.

We have an accessible sauna and changing rooms with shower cubicles, and also a larger changing room suitable for people who use wheelchairs or who need assistance.

If you would like to use the sauna please inform the receptionist before your workout and he/she will make sure that it is ready for you after your workout.
